POV MEMORY Directed by Igor Smola Singapore, Azerbaijan | 14 minutes | 2023 Through the evolution of recording devices - from 16mm and VHS to CCTV and thermal imaging - we follow an army man. He keeps trophies in a jewelry box, holds onto a family photo, and films recruits at boot camp. Later, he is captured on CCTV committing a crime - an image stored in digital memory.
